Jill: Owner
Jill has over ten years, hands on, experience in the spa industry as an aesthetician, professional make-up artist and now spa owner. Her appreciation of all natural and/or Organic skin-care, is incorporated in each of our treatments. She opened The Hidden Spa in hopes of bringing high quality professional services, in a peaceful environment, at affordable prices. She takes pride in finding wonderful therapists that enjoy helping people as much as she does.
Elyse: Spa Manager
Elyse works full-time to make sure the Spa is running smoothly. She aims to ensure that each client has the ideal spa experience. Elyse is also a licensed Esthetician who is very knowledgeable on all spa services and make-up. She grew up in San Diego, and went to High School in Big Bear, then came back to San Diego for College. She attended Palomar Institute of Cosmetology for Esthetics, and has a passion for skin care and helping people. She loves making each person she meets feel as comfortable as possible. Elyse runs everything at the spa...from the office work, to the front desk work. If you ever need anything at all, don't hesitate to ask, she is more then happy to help you!

Kimba: Massage Therapist
Kimba is a Licensed Massage Therapist who is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and is always continuing school to gain greater insight into her passion: the human body and its ability to reach its highest state of health and alignment. She loves to see results with her customized deep tissue massage focused on Chinese points and meridians meant to disperse accumulated blockages. She has also learned structural techniques that can help some people with their chronic alignment issues. For those intending to relax, she blends more circulatory strokes with her peaceful, steady flow. Kimba has also worked extensively with energy healing, and she hopes this background can be beneficial in creating a comfortable space for each person's needs and intentions. Kimba also practices foot reflexology, Lomi Lomi and applied kinesiology. She has been practicing massage since 2004, spending a few years working in one of San Diego's most prestigious spas before deciding to join a smaller, more personalized effort with The Hidden Spa. Besides massage, Kimba has immersed her studies in herbal medicine, nutrition, Yoga and Tai Chi.
Jarrod: Massage Therapist
Originally from Berkeley, CA, Jarrod is a Holistic Health Practitioner with many years experience as a Massage Therapist in San Diego and Manhattan, NY. He has worked in 5 star spa settings as well as therapeutic/rehab centers. He specializes in treating pain, sports injuries, headaches and stress. He completed his training at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego, and recently received his Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. He incorporates Foot Reflexology, Reiki, PNF Stretching, Sensory Repatterning and Zen Shiatsu into his treatments as needed/requested. Jarrod believes his role is to help each of his clients reach his/her best health state through relaxation and integration of mental and physical states.
Lucas: Massage Therapist/ Acupuncturist
Hailing from New York, Lucas began studying the healing arts of Tui-Na and Qi Gong at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Manhattan, before coming to San Diego six years ago to practice Massage Therapy as a Holistic Healthcare Provider (HHP). Continuing his education with the study of the Chinese Medcinal System, including Chinese Medical Massage (called, Tui-Na, or acupressure), Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Qi gong, and Tai Chi Chuan, Lucas went on to complete his Master's of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, and is now practicing as a Licensed Acupuncturist, and feels himself greatful for the oppurtunity to help the people in the community of Ocean Beach, and the greater San Diego area, achieve thier healthcare goals.
Jet: Massage Therapist
Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Jet studied massage therapy at the internationally acclaimed New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in 1996. She worked at Ten Thousand Waves as a massage therapist for eight years, where she studied under Japanese shiatsu masters, Shogo and Yoshi. Jet uses the modalities of shiatsu and myofascial deep tissue as the basis of her work. Her passion for the healing arts developed as a student under the curriculum of Lorin Parrish, the director of the NM Academy of Healing Arts. Jet is also a devotee of eastern philosophy and spirituality. She also studied at St. John's College of Liberal Arts in Santa Fe and has worked in the film industry as a set medic.
Anjani: Massage Therapist
Anjani graduated from Cortiva Institute in Tucson, AZ in December 2007 with over 1000 hours training then travelled to Thailand to study Thai Massage with the Sunshine Newtwork. Her passion for the profession led her to India where she studied ancient healing modalities such as Ayurveda Massage, Panchakarma, Reiki, and Yoga. Trained in many aspects of massage, Anjani has a special interest in trigger point therapy, myo-facial release, sports massage, hot and cold stone massage, and Swedish massage. Anjani is currently certified with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and holds a license with the Massage Therapy Board in the state of Arizona and is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.
Andrea: Massage Therapist
Our vessels- the body- and all of its relations are a great love and fascination of mine. I chose a path in bodywork to learn and explore different bodies and the lives they lead as well as to fulfill my desires of helping, healing and educating people. I enjoy different modalities but currently I have strong passion for deeper structural work. As a nationally certified LMT and Certified Rolfer™, I want to facilitate change and healing in my clients by working as a team toward well being. I obtained my Associates degree in massage Therapy in Eastern Nebraska and then continued my schooling at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration® in Boulder , CO . My journey in this field has been happening since 2006 and Im excited for it to continue on for many years to come.
Shaina: Massage Thereapist
After spending many years working in the chaotic New York City fashion scene, Shaina realized she needed to follow her heart and lead a more meaningful existence. Soon thereafter, she found herself here in Ocean Beach, focusing on improving the quality of life for others, and thus enriching her own life! Now a Certified Massage Therapist, she has accumulated over 850 hours of training from the School of Healing Arts and specializes in circulatory, parasympathetic, and warm stone massage. She brings a warm, nurturing energy to each of her sessions to leave her clients feeling relaxed, revitalized, and loved. Incorporating hydrotherapy and aromatherapy techniques as needed in each treatment, you can be sure your experience with Shaina will be nothing short of pure BLISS!
Cindy: Massage Therapist
Cindy originally worked in the field of psychology after receiving a Bachlor's from SDSU. Her passion to help people evolved into the study of Chinese Medicine. She has been pursuing this path since 2000 and has achieved a Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine. Cindy incorporates foot refexology, PNF stretching, Tui-Na, energy healing and the use of meridian pathways to promote healing and relaxation. Residing in OB for the last 16 years, she feels honored to be a part of the community and excited to be helping promote health care.
Janelle: Massage Therapist
After having administrative jobs in every field from mortgages to auto insurance to underwater robotics and healthcare, She decided to quit doing what people were calling "safe jobs" and decided to "get her hands dirty" by going to school for something that always made her happy-massage! This was her "rebirthing" process. She graduated from Mueller College of Holistic Studies as a California certified HHP (Holistic Health Practitioner). Her goal is to help assist her clients in returning their bodies to homeostasis (balance) and maintaining that balance by giving customized Circulatory, Swedish, and Deep Tissue massages.
Suzanna: Massage Therapist
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Suzanna grew up knowing from an early age that she wanted to help people heal. Working and living with developmentally disabled children and adults, she found her way into bodywork as a form of healing and growth for the body, mind and spirit. She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine as a Holistic Health Practitioner, and incorporates Tui Na, Shiatsu, Circulatory and Deep Tissue into her massages. Ben: Massage Therapist
I discovered my passion for bodywork and massage while working in the Bahamas swimming with dolphins and whales in the wild. The already profound experience was enhanced through CranioSacral Therapy received from other team members! When choosing a school to study from I found IPSB, here in San Diego. The holistic approach to bodywork and massage as well as extensive study of anatomy and physiology I knew would give me the tools I needed to become a great therapist. My focus is Deep Tissue Massage and Myofascial Release. I also studied CranioSacral, Shiatzu and Neuromuscular Techniques in order to help rebalance all the body's systems. First and foremost I treat the clients individual needs in order to achieve their desired result. Good health depends on a balanced body, mind and spirit. Namaste.
Jennifer: Massage Therapist
Jennifer has always had "good hands," often called upon to rub the shoulders of various family members and friends long before she knew she had an interest in the field. She realized her dream of moving to San Diego in 2001 and attended both Mueller College of Holistic Studies and The School of Healing Arts, completing her massage therapist certification in 2003. Jennifer is also a certified yoga teacher, graduating from the Master Yoga Academy in 2000. Specializing in Swedish, deep-tissue, and pregnancy massage, she is excited to be part of The Hidden Spa and hopes to bring even more relaxation and flexibility to an already peaceful environment.

Tiffany: Esthetician
Tiffany became an Esthetician to learn the truth about skin care and products and to help others with problematic skin. Suffering from acne growing up, and using almost every product on the market, she strives to educate clients on how to treat and protect there skin. Her goal is to not only give her clients the most relaxing treatment but also to treat the skin and educate clients on there own personal skin type. Not only having extensive training in acne, she also has extended education in Hyperpigmentation, hormonal skin conditions and aging skin. She is very efficient in waxing making sure every hair is removed and aims to have her clients waxing treatments be as painless as possible. Loving what she does, it truly makes a great experience.
Sheena: Esthetician
A born and raised San Diegan native to Ocean Beach , Sheena enjoys and takes pride in helping others feel better, beginning on the inside and working out. Sheena has been a licensed Esthetician in California and Nevada for over four years. While working in Henderson, NV she obtained expansive experience in Brazilian waxing and eye brow sculpting. She has worked in the skincare and beauty industry for over eight years. Her strives to help every person who comes in with her best service and knowledge in skincare.
Stephanie: Esthetician
Stephanie has been an esthetician since 2002. She was drawn to the business because she struggled with acne for many years, so she really feels for the clients, and genuinly would love to help them clear their skin and boost their confidence. She also has a great deal of experience with waxing and eyebrow shaping. Her goal is to give each client that comes to The Hidden Spa the knowledge that they need to keep clear, vibrant, and youthful looking skin.
Christine: Esthetician
Christine McCool has recently relocated to the San Diego area to continue pursuing her passion in clinical aesthetics. She began her career in 2002 while living in Tampa, FL and working in mortgage origination and processing for a national lender. While struggling with her own skin issues, she decided to take action and follow a stronger calling to help others. After speaking with various professionals in the skin care industry, she decided to attend E-Elite Academy of Skin in Dunedin, FL where she was trained under sought after industry professionals with over 20 years of Experience. The many years of interaction with corporate professionals has proven beneficial with her approach to her aesthetics business. Christine is a driven, results-oriented professional working with her clients to achieve their personal skin care goals. Continuing education to her is the key to staying abreast on the latest techniques and skin care lines. She is a certified in various clinical modalities, peels and a body sugaring practioner with Alexandria Professional.

Robyn Oakes- Hair Stylist/Manicurist
Robyn is a licensed cosmetologist who has been providing people with her wonderful creative work for over 3 years. She moved from Michigan where she has trained at the Tony and Guy Academy in Texas and also Matrix of New York. She loves showing and teaching the importance of home maintenance, so you can feel as confidant everyday as when you leave the Salon. With her upbeat personality and her passion for hair and nails she loves bringing a new element to the spa atmosphere.
